In 2020, Darphin launches a new and innovative four-week skin cure that restores, balances and calms the skin with new benefits every week: Intral Rescue Super Concentrate.

I worked on the idea of synesthesia between auditive sense and the feeling on the skin: skin harmony would become the golden thread of the campaign. From this, I directed my researches around the representations of music and (dis)harmony inside images and motion.

Film

We expressed harmony & disharmony by creating a musical skincare language. Flowers, probiotics, packaging, formula, texture were shown as equalizers, vibes, music instruments, dj deck buttons.

Disharmony and sequencing (4 bottles, 4 benefits) were expressed by a glass structure that would distort the model and also with the music going from dissonance & friction to a constant rhythm.  The film narrative is built on one golden thread : bring back the skin harmony.

Outcomes

The campaign knew a great success and contributed to create a «new Darphin» in the eyes of the consumers. The art direction has been an inspiration source to create new contents for the Intral collection. Several ideas such as collaborations and innovations has been explored, based on the concept skin = music. This campaign has also been a milestone regarding the Estee lauder group toward the Darphin brand.
