Surge is an ambitious Franco-American healthtech startup, founded by a team with backgrounds from Stanford, Polytechnique, and Harvard. I partnered with them from day one, shaping investor decks, brand foundations, and a visual system that evolved with the company, up to their €7.5M fundraising milestone.

Concept
Surge explores the frontier between translational medicine and data science — a place where immune fingerprints emerge from complex algorithms. The visual identity translates this vision into form: clinical precision infused with cosmic depth, where data becomes constellation. The deep blue is not medical but cosmic, echoing ambition and discovery. At its core, Surge celebrates the dialogue between scientists, engineers, and statisticians — disciplines converging to turn abstraction into clarity, and research into care.
Logotype

FingerPrint
At the heart of the logo, a stylized fingerprint symbolizes each patient’s unique immune profile and Surge’s mission to turn complex data into personalized, actionable care.

Intersection
Two interlinked circles create impact, balancing stability and movement while symbolizing translational medicine’s bridge between research and practice

Biomarkers
Six markers in the fingerprint represent core biomarkers while honoring the brand’s six founders.
Echo of a Logo
At the core of Surge Care’s visual identity lies its logotype. The design elements that shape it (immune fingerprint patterns, biomarkers, and circular forms) are expanded into a broader visual language, seamlessly applied across all print and digital media to ensure consistency and impact.
